We had quite a time trying to pick a day for my baby shower! I think we changed dates like 3 or 4 times. There just always seemed to be something else going on... but we finally settled on the June 2nd, which was a few Saturdays ago.
As I am sure most of you know, my beautiful, big sister is currently serving a mission in Utah, and generally she is the party planner of the family and the authority on all things creative! So when it comes to showers, she is a pro. I am not sure I could even count the number of showers she has planned... but obviously she is not here right now. How blessed am I though, because my sweet little Katie sister really stepped up and took this baby shower business on like a boss, and it was amazing.
We wanted to have a really relaxed and friendly environment, where food and talking was the main event... let's face it: what do you look forward to when you go to a shower??? The food. And talking. We are women, its what we do! Nothing wrong with that :)
We kind of forgot to take pictures till halfway through the present opening portion, but here are a few shots we did get (Sorry for the glare, I just happened to be sitting right in front of a window!):
I am really blessed and got so many wonderful and thoughtful gifts to help me get ready for this little guy! |
I got quite a bit of cloth diapering stuff!!! |
Bella can tell you how soft those little diapers are! What a lucky bum my little boy has :) |
Ellie, my adorable niece decided to take over as photographer...

I am so grateful for all of the wonderful friends and family that came together to celebrate my sweet little boy! Ryan and I really appreciate all of the love and support we have received and the beautiful gifts we have been given to help us prepare for our son's arrival!
While I was looking at the pictures of you sitting I was like "Oh, she's not real big really" and then that last picture I was like "Whoah! there's a baby in there!" Haha! :D I can't wait for you to get him out so the world can see him :D
